Well, this works.
This is the first post published through the new writing system on kjro.se. I write in Markdown, the deployment process turns it into a static page, and the public site gets ordinary flat files. No database, no content-management machinery, and relatively few opportunities for something clever to become something fragile.
This post is mostly a small systems test. It also means there is now a proper home here for personal essays, technical notes, and the occasional thought that does not belong on the PANDAROSE blog.
More soon—once I have something worth saying.
