A Better System for Tracking Published Content

I'd like a simple system that follows an article from publication through the places where it is distributed. Where APIs permit it, it could verify that distribution happened and bring together performance data for the original article and each channel.

It should support more than one company without becoming an enterprise dashboard nightmare. The interesting problem is making it comprehensive while keeping the interface extremely simple.

AI-Assisted Opportunity Research

I'm interested in systems that research organizations using public information and identify plausible, bounded workflow problems worth discussing. They need to distinguish what is actually known from hypotheses worth investigating.

The goal is better-informed human outreach. Any proposed problem would still need a conversation with the people doing the work.

Entity Clarity on the Open Web

I want to keep experimenting with how personal and business websites, structured data, profiles, publications, directories, backlinks, and consistent identity signals help search engines and AI systems recognize that separate pieces of information refer to the same person or organization.

AI as a Thinking Partner

I'm interested in where AI helps an iterative reasoning process: challenging assumptions, finding gaps, connecting ideas, examining evidence, proposing alternatives, and turning rough thoughts into things that can be tested. I want to understand where that assistance meaningfully improves human thinking.

Old Systems That Refuse to Die

I want to keep looking at older computing platforms and technologies that survive because they still solve real problems. There is a meaningful difference between obsolete technology and mature technology, and that distinction can be interesting both technically and economically.

Complex Systems in Ordinary Places

I keep looking for places where networks, optimization, feedback, complexity, incentives, and mathematics explain what first looks like an ordinary business, technological, organizational, economic, or social problem.
